Lately, I can't stop thinking about how blessed I am. Time has been going by so fast these past couple months and it has been filled with only great things. A couple of months ago I would have never guessed that I would be where I am. In this month of Thanksgiving, my list of "thankfuls" is growing ever longer.
Probably the biggest thing I am thankful for is the opportunity I have to serve a mission. Getting my mission call to Rome Italy was such a dream. I'm also thankful for two of my best friends who recently received their mission calls to Europe as well. It is so excited to be experiencing this all together.
The three of us:
Hungary Budapest, Italy Rome, and Sweden Stockholm.
Going off of mission calls. I am SO thankful that I belong to a church that is active in communicating with the Lord. I feel so blessed to know that there is a prophet on the earth who receives revelation for the specific time we are living in. Aimee and I had the chance to go to General Conference for the last session. If you are ever interested in what Mormon's believe and what they teach, check out the talks that were given at our last General Conference.
I'm thankful for my pops who came to visit for BYU Homecoming week. We took an ATV to the top of the Y (okay, we are lazy) to take part in the homecoming tradition of lighting the Y on the mountain. I love going to the Homecoming activities with my dad because I remember how much I love being involved with my University. I bleed blue.
I'm thankful for BYU football. In good weather and bad. In good games and... well maybe I'm not so thankful for those awful games we've had.
I'm thankful that I live close enough to a city that supports my concert fetish.
I'm thankful for the chance I had to go to California for one of my best friends weddings. I'm grateful that I made such great friends my Freshman year at college.
Flamingos ;)
I'm thankful for group halloween costumes (Moonrise Kingdom)
I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to vote... even though I looked like THIS the night the results came through.
I'm thankful for good friends and our endless adventures.
& Lastly I'm thankful for crisp fall weather that somehow turned into a winter wonderland this past weekend.
I really do love my life.

Congratulations on the news about serving a mission! This question is somewhat trivial, but a friend of mine is joining the Peace Corps and we wanted to have a gathering similar to what you did with your mission location news, and us planners love the chalkboard map idea! Did you make that? It's lovely!
Thanks so much! My mom actually got it for me for christmas a couple years ago from World Market. I wish I was crafty enough to make it! I'm sure you could find a similar one on Etsy.
Nice article. I think it is useful and unique article. I love this kind of article and this kind of blog. I have enjoyed it very much. Thanks for your website.
