snapshots

There are moments in our lives that we could never allow ourselves to forget
Snapshots of time that somehow seem to appear whenever you close your eyes
There are memories that never cease to make your body ache
Where your heart won't recover from the moments it wanted to explode
Most of those moments, for me, happened in Jerusalem

Last night I had a dream that a friend of mine bought me a plane ticket
Printed in hebrew script was the all too familiar name of the place that will always feel like home
I was going back.

Some times it's a dream, or a song, or just a quite moment alone that will trigger it
Days when my mind is across the seas, walking through Damascus gate

I don't think I'll ever stop missing Jerusalem, we seem to be tethered at the heart

I love this. I was watching a few of our videos we made in Jerusalem...I couldn't decide if I wanted to cry or laugh uncontrollably. I love you. I love Jerusalem.
